Graphic Arts - Plastic Strapping Systems

Power Strapping Machines

Power strapping machines, the most efficient method for strap application, ensure uniform strap placement and load integrity. We manufacture a wide range of semi and fully-automatic models for the Graphic Arts Industry to package everything from newspapers and printed forms to signature bundles and palletized printed materials. Combined with Signode stretch wrapping equipment, these systems can provide a complete packaging solution, protecting products from the hazards of handling, shipping, storage, stacking, dust and moisture.

MHG signature bundling machine

The MHG Signature Bundling Machine provides optimal efficiency, hassle-free operation and consistent load integrity. With fewer parts and a streamlined design, the MHG is simple to operate and easy to maintain.

MHG Signature Bundling Machine Features

Bolt-on application or self-contained unit

The MHG's versatile design includes a bolt-on application, which improves machine stability to ensure consistent, accurate strap placement. The MHG is also available as a self-contained unit on a moveable cart.

Modular Design
The MHG's modular design consists of separate feed and seal modules that weigh less than 30 lbs each. Modules are easy to access and can be changed out quickly for routine maintenance, minimizing downtime.

Fully accessible strap path
A hinged door on the feed module provides full access to the strap path.

Adaptable to any stacker configuration
The MHG's chute can be customized to fit virtually any stacker configuration and packaging operation. The MHG can accommodate vertical or horizontal applications.

LBX-Series plastic strapping machines
LBX-2000

The LBX-2000 offers reliable performance, low maintenance operation and the highest available speed of a general duty strapping machine. Suitable for a wide range of general applications, from mailroom operations to general carton closure, the LBX-2000 cycles up to 70 straps per minute for high speed, efficient strapping. The LBX-2000 uses 5mm or 6mm Contrax polypropylene strapping.

LBX-2000 Features

Patented, jam-resistant technology

The LBX-2000 is designed to deliver the most jam-resistant technology available. Its unique design enables the LBX-2000 to continue cycling in situations that commonly cause strap jams in other machines.

Easy coil loading

The LBX-2000’s flexible design makes strap coil loading simpler than ever. Coil can pay off in either direction, eliminating the incidences of error and downtime associated with improper strap loading.

Innovative, fully accessible strap path

On the LBX-2000, raising the hinged tabletop opens up the chute. By lifting an easy to reach guide, the LBX-2000 features full access to the strap path.
