Tata Steel has launched an initiative (Torch Bearer award category), where they evaluate their vendors on several aspects of how they are driving Safety, Health and Environment, in their operations within TATA’s premises. This was the inaugural year for the awards.

We at Signode are proud to be the recipient of the award, we were also aptly rewarded during the year:

• H1 Torch bearer – For our Smart Fencing
• H2 Torch bearer - For improving the Strap dispensing mechanism

While there was a strong competition from other vendors, what worked for us is how our team lives by these values.
