Brick-Edge Polyethylene Edge Protection

Enhances load stability and improves brick alignment. Its ability to stretch under brick applications reduces slack between straps providing for greater cube stability in rough handling situations. When Brick-Edge is applied to all four corners of a brick or block cube, the initial retained tension is 11% higher than that of non-woven polyester. As a result, Brick-Edge unitizes the load and minimizes shifting throughout the distribution process.

With UV protection built-in, Brick-Edge is designed to withstand outdoor weather conditions during storage and shipping. In an accelerated weathering test comparing Brick-Edge and non-woven polyester, Brick-Edge showed no breakdown in material strength after over one year of testing, whereas some competitive materials lost 65% of their strength in as little as 90 days.
