Water Projects
Increasing Efficiency with Resource Usage
Adiabatic cooling towers use a closed-loop design to minimize water consumption and reduce the risk of coolant contamination, we have installed adiabatic towers in Europe and African sites.
Historic open-air cooling towers accounted for high water wastage, having open water provides many challenges with water treatment. Eliminating the collection basin and the recirculation of the evaporative water significantly reduces the risks associated to standing water, with a direct impact on water treatment and water analyses costs.
Rainwater Harvesting
Collection and efficient re-use of rainwater to improve the water use.
What are we doing?
- Construction of rainwater in collection tanks to be used to reduce groundwater extraction in regions with high to extremely high water stress.
Sewage Treatment Plants
In APAC many sites are in areas considered as "Water Stressed". To support the local community and focus on zero discharge we are treating the water and using for local landscaping.
What are we doing?
- Zero water discharge through effective utilization of STP plant.
